Joining Thurrock Courts Players

You can join TCP either as an acting or non acting member. It is up to you and there are no time limits or deadlines placed upon you. When YOU feel confident and certain, then the time is right. So what is involved ? Well you can start the ball rolling by either contacting us via e-mail or forum page on this site or you can come to our rehearsals on either a Monday or Thursday night 7:30pm to 10pm at Bridge Road Adult centre, (near the football ground) Grays, Essex. We rehearse in the main hall behind reception. See, there are many ways to contact us..no excuses..
If you wish to become an acting member, you will need to perform a brief audition piece of your choice in front of 3 committee members. Do not be put off by this considering the fact that you may be performing on stage in front of 300 people!! Again it is up to you when you are ready. Maybe you would like to get to know us a little better first ? It is up to you. But join when you are ready..easy..

For many of us including myself, the most difficult part was actually plucking up courage to make that first visit to meet the group at rehearsals. I can tell you that once you have made that initial step you will soon feel welcome and quickly settle in. TCP are a great friendly group of people who gather for social events too, other than related to the theatre.
Non acting members do not audition but still need to make themselves known.

Go on you know you want to. Just do it or you will regret it again and again!!!!
