Six actors and the prompt lose the plot during the performance of a play. Rupert, the reason for this hiatus, distraught at his wife's infidelity, is seeking immediate revenge on his wife's lover, who is of course, a fellow cast member!
Berating each member of the cast in turn, his ludicrous, arrogant, and farcical behaviour results in total chaos, including stage knives and real whisky, an impromptu drama lesson, and a nurse appearing on stage!Missed cues, forgotten lines, backstage bitching, an affair and even Shakespeare, are all here.... somewhere!
